AcrySof® ReSTOR® Clinical Results
During the AcrySof® ReSTOR® IOL clinical studies, patients' lifestyles were enhanced through improved vision and greater freedom from reading glasses and bifocals. In fact, according to the AcrySof® ReSTOR® IOL clinical studies, 80% of AcrySof® ReSTOR® IOL patients found that they were no longer dependent upon their glasses, compared to only 8% of patients with monofocal lenses following bilateral cataract surgery.
Additionally, the AcrySof® ReSTOR® IOL clinical studies indicated that nearly 94% of the study subjects were so satisfied with their improved vision that they would have the AcrySof® ReSTOR® IOL implanted again.
Clinical studies with the AcrySof® ReSTOR® IOL as compared to a monofocal control demonstrated:
